Alphacam Add-in using C# or VB.Net in visual studio
Hi,
I am new to Alphacam add-in development.
I have tried a couple of macros for Alphacam using VBA.
I am now moving towards add-in creation for Alphacam using visual studio. But I am not able to find suitable material or any example for it.
Any help would be appreciated here?

Unexpected vertical tool offset following the change of workspace G54 G55 G56
Hi,
I wish to do a job requiring 2 tools in 3 Work Coordinates System (WCS) : G54, G55 and G56.
Tool 1 must work in each WCS before changing to Tool 2.
I use the option "Multiple WCS Offsets / Order by Tool" of the Setup in Fusion 360.
I observe that the tool change induces a vertical offset of tool 2.
This offset is precisely the difference between length compensations of tool 1 and tool 2.
This difference is even doubled after the milling of the G55 to G56.
e.g.
Tool 1 Length Compensation -130,00
Tool 2 Length Compensation -133.50
Compensation difference = 3,50
DRO Work_offsets at the end of the program:
G54 X0.00 Y 0.00 Z0.00
G55 X0.00 Y15.00 Z3.50
G56 X0.00 Y30.00 Z7.00
(The 3 Work_offsets are Y-aligned and spaced 15.00).
I'm using Fusion 360 with Mach3, PostProcess Mach3mill_43262
I tried to solve the problem by making changes in the program and looking for good advice on forums, but still unresolved.
I would be grateful for if you could support me for this problem.

Need Help! Scribing degree graduations on a bevel
I'm trying to mark graduations on the bevelled edge of a disc? I'm making a degree vernier, how do I go about getting the lines on the bevel at the correct angle, the disc has a 60° bevel about .4 wide. The numbers would be good too but not essential.

CAM for new 5 axis machine
HI
I am looking for a free or affordable CAM program for an xyzbc router that the fairies have made in my workshop. I have tried the cnc toolkit but can't seem to get it to work. Can anyone suggest a program I can use. I want to try and machine wooden busts from stl files.
Thanks

Designing Filigree Type Tool paths
Hello - I'm fairly new to CNC. Just finished my build. Trying to layout a backsplash that is lots of custom and unique curves and spirals. I took a a stab at it in V-Carve pro and have access to autocad as well but not quite what I am envisioning. Any suggestions to get from this

biggest thing for me is not being able to generate long smooth curves or nurbs... Do I have to use rhino or illustrator? Anyone have any success with designs like this in V-Carve pro or autocad?
Thanks!

Need Help! GCode Generator for CNC 3018 Pro
Hello,
I have just acquired a little 2nd hand CNC 3018 Pro CNC/Engraving machine.
Got it home, installed driver plus UGS Universal Gcode Sender and machine seems to work on all axis just fine.
So now i need some hopefully freeware to generate gcode for this little machine from STL files I have created with Alibre Design.
What i want to do mostly cutout Perspex/Wood sheet and maybe a little 3 axis surface machining on Perspex/Wood.
Many thanks IMK

Problem with Fanuc Series O-M
This is my first post on this forum
I installed an old CNC milling machine with a controller Fanuc Series O-M.
The machine is a Milling Yeong Chin Machinery, Type: MAX-3HP
The system firmware version is 0469 - 10
The servo firmware version is 9046 - 09
The PMC (PLC in Fanuc speak) type is PMC A1 - 01
When I turn on the machine, I have the message :
1015 pot inp alarm
And, when I try to get the spindle running, I have the message:
1002 Zero point missed.
The table is homed correctly at x=0, y=0, z=0
All amplifiers indicate "ready" with a 0 error code.
Now, I am looking for the manual of this machine
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks for any help
